BÀ RỊA-VŨNG TÀU  The helicopter that went missing yesterday in the southern province of Bà Rịa-Vũng Tàu was found this morning with the bodies of all three military officers on board.

The deceased are Captain Dương Lê Minh and two pilot trainees, Lieutenant Đặng Đình Duy and Lieutenant Nguyễn Văn Tùng.

The helicopter was located at Yên Ngựa Pass on Bao Quan mountain, which is part of Dinh range in Tân Thành District, the investigation unit of the province’s Military Command said. The district’s military command and forest ranger forces worked together to bring the bodies down from the mountain.

The crash site has been barricaded and the cause of the accident is being investigated.

The three officers were out on a routine flying exercise and were using helicopter 8632 EC130 T2, which belonged to the Bà Rịa-Vũng Tàu Training Centre of the Vietnam Helicopter Corporation. After 15 minutes of flying, the helicopter lost communication with its control centre. It was later reported to have crashed in the Dinh mountain.  VNS
