THỪA THIÊN - HUẾ —Rains from noon until the late afternoon turned Thua Thien-Hue Province’s Huế City into a river.

Almost all roads in the city were flooded, affecting the lives of locals. Schools and kindergartens were shut, forcing parents to leave work early to pick up their children before the floods worsened.

Heavy rains continued to pour water down on the streets, causing chaos as many people rushed home. Many foreign visitors were stuck in bars and restaurants in the city because of the flooding.

Authorities have yet to make an announcement on the storm. No sewage workers are tackling the flooding.
