LÂM ĐỒNG — Forest rangers in the Central Highlands’ Lâm Đồng Province caught red-handed a man illegally transporting 21 southern pig-tailed macaques (Macaca nemestrina) yesterday.

Huỳnh Minh Tiền, 22, was nabbed near a local forest in Tam Bố Commune. He admitted he was taking the macaques to Phan Thiết City to sell for profit. The forest rangers found the macaques in poor health.
