A fire has broken out at the second floor of a house in Gwangju city, the Republic of Korea, killing one Vietnamese man, the Yonhap news agency reported on Monday. 

SEOUL — A fire has broken out at the second floor of a house in Gwangju city, the Republic of Korea, killing one Vietnamese man, the Yonhap news agency reported on Monday. 
The incident occurred at 6:51pm on Sunday, while the victim was sleeping and his wife was going out for work. 
According to the Vietnamese community in the region, the victim is Lê Bá Luân, 32, from Bàu Năng commune, Dương Minh Châu district, the southern province of Tây Ninh. 
Witnesses said that they heard an explosion before seeing the fire and smoke from the living room and bedroom on the second floor of the house. 
Investigations into the incident are underway. — Yonhap/VNS
