VN embassy sets up hotlines after Brussels attacks

The Vietnamese Embassy in Belgium has launched two hotlines to receive emergency information relating to Vietnamese nationals there following the terror attacks in Brussels yesterday, the foreign affairs ministry said.

HÀ NỘI (VNS) — The Vietnamese Embassy in Belgium has launched two hotlines to receive emergency information relating to Vietnamese nationals there following the terror attacks in Brussels yesterday, the foreign affairs ministry said.

The hotlines, 0032-498352442 and 0032-485315965, are available round the clock to receive information and provide support in response to any urgent request of Vietnamese nationals in Belgium.

Right after the attacks, the embassy actively contacted authorised Belgian agencies as well as associations and agencies of Việt Nam there to have a thorough grasp of the situation.

The embassy said no Vietnamese national was reported injured or killed in the terror attacks.

The explosions ripped through Brussels airport and a metro train yesterday, killing about 35 people and injuring more than 200. — VNS
