The Ghềnh Bridge collapsed after a barge crashed into its pillar, causing many people to fall into the river yesterday in southern Đồng Nai Province. Latest reports said four victims have been saved so far, and three motorbikes were fished out of the river. Deputy Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc ordered the Ministry of Transport to set up a special team led by Deputy Minister Nguyễn Ngọc Đông to handle the collapse. As the bridge is on the North-South railway route, railway services have been stopped. Trains on the route now have to stop at the province’s Biên Hòa Station. According to the ministry, it will take at least 3-5 months to fix the bridge. — VNA/VNS Photo Sỹ Tuyên
