HCM CITY (VNS) — HCM City will launch a measles – rubella vaccination campaign next month that will cover about 124,000 people in 24 districts next month, the city health department said.

The free vaccinations, which would cover people in the 16-17 age group, would be conducted at local health centres, it said.

The mass vaccinations will be of 11th and 12 grade high school students and those who were born between January 1, 1998 and December 31, 1999, who live in the city.

Those who were born in 2000, but were not covered in the 2014-15 measles-rubella vaccination campaign for children in the 1-14 age group, will also benefit from the campaign. — VNS
