DA NANG (VNS) — The Russian navy destroyer ship Bystry, oil tanker, Boris Butoma, tug boat Alatau, and 315 crew members led by Rear Admiral Yuldashev Aleksandr Yurevich yesterday docked at Da Nang's Tien Sa Port to begin a three-day visit to the city.

During their stay, the naval officers and crew members plan to lay wreaths at the city's monument for war martyrs and heroes, pay visits to the city's People's Committee, Military Zone 5, and the High Command of Naval Zone 3.

They are the first navy ships from Russia visiting the city in 2016.

Last July, Russian ship Admiral Panteleev 548 also visited the city.

A farewell ceremony will take place at Tien Sa port on Saturday. — VNS
