HCM CITY (VNS) — High quality helmets were presented today to 820 students and teachers of Tan Hiep Primary School in HCM City's outlying district of Hoc Mon.

The school is in an area with a high risk of traffic accidents due to the number of trucks transiting there.

The Asia Injury Prevention Foundation in co-operation with the AIG, American multinational insurance group, organised the helmet programme.

AIG has donated more than 3,000 helmets to students and teachers in areas with a high risk of traffic accidents in the country. — VNS
