DA NANG (VNS) — Six fishermen were rescued on Wednesday after the engine of their boat, BD95906TS, broke down on Sunday and the vessel started drifting 56 miles off Quang Tri Province's Con Co Island.
The fishermen, from the central Binh Dinh Province, were in good health after receiving first aid from the doctors of a rescue and search ship (SAR 411) of the Da Nang-based Regional Maritime Search and Rescue Co-ordination Centre No 2 (MRCC2).

The rescue ship found the fishing vessel about 1am on November 11, off the coast of Quang Tri, and took the fishermen to Da Nang Port by 3pm the same day. — VNS
