Two-hour traffic jam hits Ha Noi commuters

Update: October, 08/2015 - 16:39

HA NOI (VNS) — Commuters were stuck for more than two hours in a monster traffic jam at the notorious Nguyen Trai–Khuat Duy Tien junction, following a downpour in Ha Noi early today.

There was at least a 3km-long traffic jam during the morning rush hour, from about 7.30am to 9.30am, with lines of cars and motorbikes being stuck on the road.

Though traffic policemen tried to clear the congestion, most commuters "refused to follow the police's orders to give way to others," the police said.
