HA NOI (VNS) — Police yesterday decided to prosecute two persons, reportedly involved in the killing of six persons in the southern Binh Phuoc Province on July 7, for murder and theft, said Colonel Nguyen Truong Son, secretariat of Binh Phuoc Province Police's office.
The two suspects have been taken into custody for four months for further investigation.
Nguyen Hai Duong and Vu Van Tien, both 24, from An Giang Province and HCM City's Hoc Mon District, respectively, allegedly told investigation officials that they had committed the murders.
At a press conference by the public security ministry last Saturday, police said the two men were captured four days after wood processing magnate Le Van My, his wife, son and daughter, as well as two relatives were found murdered in their villa in Chon Thanh District. — VNS
