HA NOI (VNS) — The Embassy of Viet Nam in the Czech Republic has announced the launch of a hotline to help overseas Vietnamese citizens.

Vietnamese citizens, facing difficulties in consular and citizen protection issues, can call 792 392 299 for advice and help, head of the embassy's consular division Le Quoc Tuan said at a seminar in Prague last weekend.

The seminar was held with an aim to improve consular activities and protection of citizens, and to tighten coordination between the Vietnamese Embassy and the Overseas Vietnamese Association in the Czech Republic.

The embassy has also implemented several other measures, such as the expansion of the meeting room for citizens and procedural reform for improved assistance of Vietnamese citizens in the country, Tuan said. — VNS
