BA RIA-VUNG TAU (VNS) — Angelito Capindo Rojas, a chef on the sunken cargo ship Bulk Jupiter, was yesterday handed over to representatives from the Philippine Embassy in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province.

Rojas is the only survivor from the ship so far. The Bahamian ship, carrying 19 people, sank off Vung Tau's coast on January 2. It was carrying iron ore from Malaysia to China.

Maritime rescue forces from Ba Ria–Vung Tau saved Rojas and recovered the bodies of Captain Ronel Acueza Andrin and Jerome Maquilang Dinoy. The bodies will be handed over today. — VNS
