HA NOI (VNS)  — Japanese envoy Hiroshi Fukada yesterday signed a document will provide non-refundable aid worth nearly US$500,000 for five social welfare projects in northern Viet Nam.

One of the projects will upgrade the Birla Children's Village in Ha Noi, two will build elementary schools in Thai Nguyen Province, and the other two will expand commune-level clinics in Phu Tho Province.
