BAC KAN (VNS) — Twenty-five Vietnamese workers are currently unable to leave Saudi Arabia and are facing difficulties in their daily lives, according to Ly Thai Hai, chairman of the Bac Kan People's Committee.

Among them, 17 workers still haven't received their work permits since they arrived in the kingdom in April, and the rest have been unable to find jobs after getting work permits.

Hai has requested assistance from the Thang Long International Cooperation and Investment JSC (Thang Long OSC), which was responsible for sending the workers abroad, the ministry of labour, invalids and social affairs and the immigration office in bringing them back home. — VNS
