Vietnamese teams win Robotics contest

HCM CITY (VNS) — A team of students from Doan Thi Diem Primary School of Ha Noi won first prize in the apprentice category of the Digital Youth Award-International Robotics Competition held in Malaysia on Sunday. The team from Nguyen Tat Thanh Secondary School in Ha Noi won the second prize in the expert category.

The remaining five prizes included two distinction prizes and three excellence prizes. Twenty-five teams from Viet Nam attended the competition.

The candidates in the annual competition for children were divided into three categories, including apprentices for children aged 6 to 9, veterans for children aged 9-12 and experts for children aged 11-18.

The competition attracted 127 teams from Viet Nam, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Phillipines. — VNS
