Youth research projects win awards

HCM CITY (VNS) — Forty research works and products were awarded prizes at the Innovative Youth Festival in HCM City on Sunday.

Selected from 130 entries submitted by 41 provincial and municipal Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCMCYU) chapters, the winning works and products covered several sectors including health, education and security and defense.

Among the winners were HCM City University of Medicine and Pharmacy's research on Doxophylin used in asthma and COPD treatment, Viettel's research on developing a foundation for military information devices using SDR technology, and a natural rubber-based electric wire manufacturing project carried out by the Vietnam Rubber Group.
