Network helps improve infant feeding

HA NOI (VNS) — A network of 781 social-franchises, called Mattroibetho, have provided counseling on infant feeding to 2 million pregnant women, lactating mothers and caregivers in 15 provinces as part of a project between the National Institute of Nutrition (NIN) and Alive and Thrive in Viet Nam.

The 3-year project aimed to increase the rate of breast feeding and improve complementary feeding practices in Viet Nam through a website, social media and media campaign.
