HA NOI (VNS) — The Viet Nam Road Administration announced yesterday that it had removed all road signs limiting speed to under 40kmph on national highways.

This was achieved within 20 days of receiving the instruction from Transport Minister Dinh La Thang.

The minister ordered the replacement of 25kmph, 30kmph and 35kmph speed-limit signs to speed up the flow of traffic.

The Road Administration has asked transport departments to also change the speed-limit signs on provincial highways. — VNS
