Hue, Da Lat nominated for green city awards

THUA THIEN – HUE (VNS)– Green Hue and Da Lat cities have been nominated to receive the third ASEAN environmentally sustainable cities award.

The award will honour 10 green cities from countries in the Association of South East Asia Nations.

The announcement will be made at the 15th ASEAN Ministerial Conference on Environment, to be held in Lao in September, based upon profiles submitted by city authorities.

The award is designed to increase public awareness about the environment and attract environmental investment programmes into the cities. - VNS
