HA NOI  (VNS) — Vietnam News Agency (VNA) and the Party Central Committee's Commission for Emulation and Rewards on January 6 signed an agreement on cooperation in communication campaigns on patriotic emulation movements.

The cooperation aims to strongly promote the combined strength of the great national unity bloc and internal forces, contributing to successfully implementing the 2011-2015 socio-economic development plan.

Under the agreement, the news agency and the commission will step up communication campaigns on the guidelines of the Party and the State's policies and laws on emulation and rewards, the country's renewal process, and examples in patriotic emulation movements in combination with studying and following the moral example of President Ho Chi Minh.

VNA's television channel, Vnews, and other information units of the agency are responsible for developing programmes honouring outstanding collectives and individuals.
