160 children hospitalised following food poisoning

BINH THUAN (VNS) — The Binh Thuan Department of Health is testing food samples taken from a kindergarten in Tuy Phong District to determine the cause of food poisoning that sickened 160 students.

The Tuy Phong District General Hospital reported receiving the children yesterday from the Phuoc The Kindergarten, who were said to be suffering from vomiting, bellyaches and being pale.

The children were between three and five years old. Officials said they fell ill after eating their afternoon snacks

Doctors from the hospital report that the students' medical conditions are now stable. — VNS
