Khanh Hoa to invest in primary schools

KHANH HOA (VNS) — The central province of Khanh Hoa will invest more than VND56 billion (US$2.7 million) to improve primary schools in Khanh Son and Khanh Vinh communes by 2015.

The provincial authorities plan to build 61 new classrooms in 15 primary schools, and school kitchens will be fully equipped to facilitate day-boarders and provide better learning conditions.

There are nearly 8,000 ethnic minority pupils in Khanh Hoa who receive financial support for school meals. — VNS
