HA NOI  (VNS) — The national steering board for the search and repatriation of martyr remains, known as Steering Board 1237, is to launch a new campaign hunting for more fallen heroes.

The board reached the consensus at a conference in Ha Noi yesterday.

Under the decision, Viet Nam aim to find the remains of 10,000 fallen soldiers by 2015. In the next five years, the country will focus on cases where some information on their whereabouts is available, hoping to locate the remains of about 60 percent of these cases.
