UPS Foundation funds disadvantaged kids

HCM CITY (VNS)— The UPS Foundation, the charitable arm of UPS, yesterday announced it has given two grants to Vina Capital Foundation (VCF) and Room To Read in Viet Nam to improve the quality of life of children in the country.

VCF was given a grant of US$30,000 to fund the "UPS, Heartbeat of Viet Nam" programme beginning in August.

In addition, a grant of US$26,750 has been awarded to Room To Read, an organisation that aims to bring educational opportunities to disadvantaged children. . — VNS
