HA NOI (VNS)— More than 300 of Ha Noi's top graduates from universities and colleges were honoured for their academic results at the Temple of Literature last Saturday.
The 11th ceremony of its kind was hosted by the Ha Noi Youth Union and allowed outstanding graduates to sign their names and messages in the temple's traditional golden book; a privilege typically reserved for top performing students and youth leaders.
The annual event is aimed at motivating Vietnamese students in their studies.
Hoang Hoa Binh, 22, from the University of Culture, said she was delighted and proud to have her name listed in the temple's golden book, vowing to use her knowledge to benefit the country.
During the ceremony, graduates took part in an exchange with the city's leaders and social and cultural experts on how to better utilise social networking to inspire the country's youth. — VNS
