HA NOI (VNS)— Nearly 8,000 households in Ha Noi's Ba Dinh District had their water supplies resumed yesterday after a broken pipe in the area was repaired, according to the city's Water Company.
The broken section, which was 1.4m long, was at the Kim Ma-Lieu Giai crossroads. It disrupted water supplies to local residents in Ngoc Khanh, Cong Vi and part of Giang Vo Ward for over a day.
The incident happened during the on-going construction of an overpass in the location. The same problem affected residents in Thanh Xuan District recently due to building work on the forthcoming urban elevated railway. — VNS
