CAN THO (VNS)— The city has started a project to build eight pumping stations in a move to provide clean water to about 5,740 rural households. The water drawn from underground will go through several stages of treatment.
After the project is complete, about 84 per cent of rural residents of the city will have access to clean water.
The city plans to build 182 pumping stations from now until 2020, which will provide 95 per cent of rural area residents with access to clean water. — VNS
