BANGKOK (VNS)— A delegation from the Vietnamese Embassy in Thailand presented gifts to injured Vietnamese labourers at Rayong hospital on Tuesday, in the wake of their severe traffic accident.

The accident occurred last Sunday when a car carrying 15 Vietnamese labourers, mostly from Viet Nam's central Ha Tinh Province, hit the back of a lorry on their way to extend their visas in Chanthaburi.

The Thai driver and two Vietnamese passengers were killed. Four other Vietnamese were seriously injured and are being treated at the hospital.

The Vietnamese Embassy and local authorities are now co-ordinating to help the injured extend their visas. — VNS
