HA NOI (VNS)— About 45,000 substandard helmets have been exchanged for better ones in a three-day programme launched by the National Traffic Safety Committee, said Nguyen Hoang Hiep, the committee's deputy chair.

Helmets of the B'Color and Chita brands will also continue to be exchanged at shops of the A Long Company and Chi Thanh Plastic Trading and Manufacturing Company respectively.

Additionally, Protec, Andes and a Korean company have submitted proposals to take part in the programme, scheduled to be launched in Ho Chi Minh City soon. — VNS
