Cambodian patients receive treatment

HA NOI (VNS)— Poor people living in Cambodia's northwest province of Banteay Meanchey have this week got free medical check-ups and treatment from nearly 100 voluntary doctors.

The doctors, came from HCM City and Cambodia's Chak Angre Phnom Penh hospital, was led by former Minister of Health Tran Thi Trung Chien.

They provided the service to around 7,000 poor local residents, including Vietnamese, in Cambodia.

Many Cambodians were diagnosed with acute diseases such as blood clots, hyper-tensions and bone or joint problems, said Le Ba Hung, director of Chak Angre Phnom Penh Hopspital.-VNS
