Coach overturns in Ha Tinh, 12 injured

HA TINH (VNS)— Twelve people were injured when a bus overturned in the central Ha Tinh Province's Ky Anh District, police said yesterday.

Witnesses said the bus was traveling at average speed when it suddenly appeared to go out of control and crashed into a stone road marker before overturning in a field.

Initial investigations showed the driver lost control on the slippery surface as a result of recent rain.

The injured, most of whom were from the central provinces of Nghe An and Ha Tinh, were taken to Ky Anh Hospital. Their condition was not available last night.

The bus was put back on the road and continued on its journey to the south with the uninjured passengers. — VNS
