More benefit from family planning

Update: November, 20/2012 - 10:32

HA NOI (VNS)— More that 500,000 people have received reproductive health care and family planning services in 80 state-owned and private health facilities in Viet Nam and Cambodia in the past three years.

This was the major result of a European Union project costing US$3.12 million to build capacity in sexual and reproductive health-care in the two countries.

Run by Marie Stopes International, the project helped strengthen the capacity of government health networks to deliver quality community-based services via a social franchising model. — VNS
