Ha Noi – A ceremony was held in Ha Noi yesterday to honour 107 outstanding students who achieved top results in the city's university and academy graduation exams.
The event, which took place at the Temple of Literature, Viet Nam's first university, was aimed at encouraging students to enrich their knowledge and make further contributions to society.
Addressing the students, Ha Noi Party Committee Secretary Pham Quang Nghi praised them for their academic achievements and said city authorities would offer the best conditions to help them develop their skills and contribute to the development of the nation, and Ha Noi in particular.
Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan and Education Minister Pham Vu Luan also attend the ceremony.
State Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan will meet with the students today.
Over the past 10 years, Ha Noi has honoured 1,080 students who recorded top results in university graduation exams. – VNS
