HA NOI - Ha Noi Market Watch has fined three petrol stations VND30 million (US$1,440) each for violating trade regulations.
A petrol station in Thach That District's Binh Yen Village owned by the Military Petroleum Company was fined VND25 million ($1,200) for having no business licence.
Two more stations in the district owned by Ha Son Binh Petroleum Company, were fined VND5 million ($240) each for not training staff in fire prevention and fighting regulations.
The fines followed an inspection on trading activities to catch price speculators. On Monday, importers raised retail fuel prices by VND1,100 (US$ 0.05) per litre.
The inspection showed that most petrol stations were operating correctly. - VNS
