HA NOI — The Government has approved a project that targets to help 250,000 people of a working age with disabilities to receive vocational training and employment by 2015.
Under the project, about 70 per cent of the disabled will have access to medical services, and 70 per cent of children under six with congenital defects will be diagnosed and treated early.
State agency buildings, stations, medical facilities and sports centres nationwide will also have disabled access.
Only 15,000 out of 12 million people with disabilities are employed in the country. — VNS
