UNHCR aids US$150,000 to build schools

HA NOI – Two kindergarten and primary schools and three pre-school classes are set to be built in the Central Highland province of Dak Lak under project funded by the provincial budget with a US$150,000 donation from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

The provincial People's Committee pledged to open the schools and classes, located in Buon Ho Township and the districts of Cu M'gar and Krong Nang, before the 2012-13 school year.

The UNHCR has donated more than $400,000 to build eight schools for local ethnic groups in the locality. – VNS
