Cell phone thieves confess to snatching

HA NOI (VNS)— The Ha Noi Criminal Police Department arrested two mobile phone thieves who targeted female victims in Ha Noi's city centre.

Nguyen Thai Vinh, 30, from the central province of Nghe An and Pham Van Hieu, 28, from Ha Noi confessed to snatching 13 mobile phones in Hoan Kiem, Dong Da and Hai Ba Trung districts. The victims were women using mobile phones while driving motorbikes or electric bicycles. — VNS
