13 tonnes of expired poultry uncovered

BINH DUONG (VNS)— Inspectors in the southern province of Binh Duong seized 13 tonnes of frozen poultry on Tuesday, three months after its expiry date.

The goods were being stored at Panasato warehouse in Song Than Industrial Zone, Di An Town.

The products were produced by the Dong Nai Province-based Thanh Binh Company.

Inspectors also discovered over eight tonnes of fermented pork roll and pig's head paste, all of which had no origin of manufacture or best-before date.

Investigations are ongoing. — VNS
