Informatic Olympiads success for Viet Nam

HA NOI (VNS)— Four Vietnamese students won three silver and one bronze medals at the International Informatics Olympiad in Italy last week.

The Ministry of Education and Training held a ceremony yesterday to welcome the team home and reward the winners.

Vietnamese national teams competing at different regional and international olympiads this year made remarkable progress compared with previous years.

The teams won five gold and 15 silver medals altogether. This year also was the first time that all 31 students from six national teams came home with medals. — VNS
