Viet Nam wins medals at physics Olympics

HA NOI — Every member of the Vietnamese Olympic physics team won a medal at the recent competition, among them two gold medals, the Ministry of Education and Training has said.

The gold medals were awarded to Dinh Ngoc Hai (Bien Hoa high school in Ha Nam province) and Ngo Phi Long (Son La high school in Son La province), the first time a student from a mountainous province has won gold.

A silver was won by Le Quang Huy (Lam Son high school in Thanh Hoa province) and two bronze medals went to Dinh Viet Thang and Bui Xuan Hien (Le Hong Phong high school in Nam Dinh province).

The team made spectacular progress compared with the achievements made at the same event in 2011. .— VNS
