Ha Noi calls for investment in commerce and market projects

HA NOI - The Ha Noi People's Committee has called on businesses to invest in approved projects on building major commercial business centers and markets in the city.

The committee's list of approved projects includes the Commerce and Service Complex project, covering an area of 14,000 square meters, it will include sites at Le Trong Tan Street and in Duong Noi precinct, Ha Dong District. The total investment capital for the project is estimated at VND199.9 billion (nearly US$10 million). Construction is scheduled to take place between 2013 and 2015.

The Fishery Business for Sale and Commerce-Food Cuisine Centers project located in Yen Nghia precinct, Ha Dong District will cost about VND346 billion (US$15 million). These centers will be built from 2012-2016.

The Le Chi Market project has a total investment capital of VND45 billion (US$2.2 million) and will be built on an area of 18,368 square meters in Le Chi village, Gia Lam District. The proposed construction period will be between 2012-2014.

The Dong Tam Market project in Phu Dong village, Ba Vi District will be built on an area of 20,270 square meters. It is estimated to cost VND73.3 billion (US$ 3.6 million) and will be built during the 2012-2014 period.

Investment registration for businesses will be open until July 15, 2012.—VNS.
