Doctors save life of boy bitten by snake

HA NOI – Doctors at Bach Mai Hospital have saved a 12-year-old boy from a Bungarus snake bite, reported Associate Professor Nguyen Tien Dung, head of Paediatrics Department, on Wednesday.

The boy had difficulty breathing and was admitted to the hospital's Poison Control Centre.

After 11 days of treatment, the patient is now out of danger and no longer needs a breathing machine. — VNS
