HA NOI (VNS) – The Government will give farmers who have lost their land for State construction works with vocational training and job opportunities.
According to a new government decision, the recipients will be farmers who do not receive land compensation. They are required to have permanent homes and be of working age.
They will received free job consultations and introductions to local employment centres run by the Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs.
They will also be allowed to borrow money from the National Fund for Employment. Businesses that employ the landless farmers will enjoy preferential policies on land, credit and tax.
As for overseas jobs, farmers will be paid to learn a job, foreign language and receive free health-checks and passports.
They will be able to borrow money at low interest from the Bank for Social Policies to pay for expenses.
The support policy will operate for the next three years. – VNS
