QUANG NAM — Two petrol stations have been fined VND30 million (US$1,400) each for selling substandard petrol to customers in central Quang Nam Province.
Analysis of petrol samples at Hong Ha Petrol Station revealed a lower octane rating than regulations specify. The station's business has been temporarily suspended for six months.
Meanwhile, Tuan Tam Petrol Station cheated customers by selling A92 petrol instead of A95. The provincial Industry and Trade Department is considering temporarily revoking the station's business licence. — VNS
