HA NOI — Ha Noi Police yesterday issued a warrant for the arrest of four top managers of MB24, an online trading company based in Tu Liem District, for further investigations into alleged internet fraud.
Police have already arrested the company's general director Nguyen Tuan Minh and two deputy general directors, but CEO Ngo Van Huy is on the run.
The company has been accused by its customers of taking large amounts of money from them to join an online multi-level trading network, under which individuals had to pay more than US$200 to buy an online "store space". Cutomers were told they could earn commission by inviting others to join the network. — VNS
