The visit will be made at the invitation of Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc.

At a regular press conference on Thursday, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Lê Thị Thu Hằng said that during the visit, Việt Nam and Hungary would seek ways to step up bilateral co-operation in economy, trade, investment, science-technology, education-training, healthcare, environment, security and defence.

PM Viktor will pay courtesy calls to Party General Secretary Nguyễn Phú Trọng and President Trần Đại Quang, hold talks with Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc. He will also meet Chairwoman of the National Assembly, Nguyễn Thị Kim Ngân, and attend a Việt Nam-Hungary Business Forum, Hằng said.
