Việt Nam, Laos share experiences in Party inspection

Việt Nam and Laos should continue to co-ordinate in organising anniversary activities until the end of the year so that the Việt Nam-Laos Friendship Year 2017 profoundly impacts the people of the two countries, especially young generations.

HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam and Laos should continue to co-ordinate in organising anniversary activities until the end of the year so that the Việt Nam-Laos Friendship Year 2017 profoundly impacts the people of the two countries, especially young generations.

Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc made the statement at a meeting with Lao Deputy Prime Minister, Dr Bounthong Chitmany, in Hà Nội yesterday.

Phúc thanked the Party, State, Government and the people of Laos for supporting the Vietnamese community in Laos and expressed his hope that Lao leaders will continue to create favourable conditions for Vietnamese enterprises to do business in Laos.

The PM lauded the co-operation between the two central inspection committees, saying that the two parties and governments attached great importance to supervising Party organisation and the fight against corruption.

As a result, it was very important for the two parties to enhance co-operation, exchange information and share experiences in Party inspection and strengthen the fight against corruption.

Chitmany, who is also member of the Lao Politburo, Chairman of the Commission for Inspection, Chairman of the State Inspection Committee, said that purpose of his visit to Hà Nội was to share experience with the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Inspection and Government Inspectorate in the fight against corruption.

Deputy Prime Minister of Laos expressed his belief that the relationship between the two parties, the State, the Government and the people of Việt Nam - Laos will be forever green.

He also delivered the greetings and good wishes of Lao Prime Minister Thongloun Sisoulith to PM Phúc. — VNS
