Việt Nam deeply concerned about DPRK’s missile launch

Việt Nam is deeply concerned about the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK)’s launch of Hwasong-14 intercontinental ballistic missile on July 4, which was a serious violation of relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions and has increased tension in the region.

HÀ NỘI  Việt Nam is deeply concerned about the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK)’s launch of Hwasong-14 intercontinental ballistic missile on July 4, which was a serious violation of relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions and has increased tension in the region.

The statement was made by the Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Lê Thị Thu Hằng on Thursday in response to reporters’ questions on Việt Nam’s reaction to the DPRK’s intercontinental ballistic missile launch.

“Việt Nam consistently supports all efforts to promote dialogues and maintain peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula,” Hằng said.

“Việt Nam calls on all parties to strictly abide by relevant resolutions of the UN Security Council and have constructive, practical actions to contribute to the maintenance of peace, security and stability in the region and the world,” she added.  VNS
